Israeli occupation forces (IOF) killed on Monday, February 13, 2022, a Palestinian youth and injured others during a military incursion into the city of Nablus.

The Palestinian Red Crescent announced today, at dawn, that the young man, Amir Bustami, died of his wounds by Israeli bullets, and seven others were wounded, as the Israeli occupation forces shot them during the storming of Nablus.

The Israeli occupation forces massively stormed the city of Nablus and surrounded one of the Palestinian residential buildings, heavily opened fire on the Palestinian citizens as well as explosions were heard in the place.

The director of the Emergency and Ambulance Center at the Palestinian Red Crescent, Ahmed Jibril, stated that the Red Crescent crews dealt with five Palestinian injuries with live and rubber-coated metal bullets.

He added that “we were informed by the Red Cross that the occupation army detained two young men after they were shot in the vicinity of the besieged house on Sufyan Street.”

He pointed out that dozens of Palestinian youths suffocated as a result of inhaling toxic gas fired by the occupation forces in the confrontations that erupted in the vicinity of Sufyan Street in the city.

Jibril said that three Red Crescent volunteers are still being held inside the house, which was besieged by IOF.

With the killing of the young man Amir Bustami in Nablus, the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli occupation forces and settlers, since the beginning of this year, rises to 48, including 10 children, an elderly woman, and a Palestinian detainee in the occupation prisons.
