DaysofPal- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a series of raids across the occupied West Bank early Wednesday, kidnapping at least 18 Palestinians, including a mother and her daughter as well as three minors, according to local sources.
The arrests were conducted during widespread military incursions into multiple cities, accompanied by home searches and reported assaults on residents.
In the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, Israeli forces stormed the city of Al-Bireh, where they kidnapped 48-year-old Nidaa Qatamash and her daughter Taymaa Jamal Qatamash after raiding and searching their home.
In the Bethlehem governorate, four Palestinians were kidnapped, including three 17-year-olds identified as Mohammad Osama Al-Hreimi, Ramez Mohammad Ramadan, and Diaa Mohammad Abdullah Ghneim.
In Nablus, eight more Palestinians were kidnapped following incursions into several neighborhoods and the town of Qusra to the south.
Local sources said that Israeli forces raided homes, causing damage to property during the search operations.
Two additional young men, Maysera Suleiman Abdul Majeed Hassan, 20, and Zaid Nouri Issa Abu Rida, 23, were kidnaped in Qusra after their homes were searched.
Meanwhile, in the Hebron governorate, Israeli forces kidnapped Ghada Mahmoud Wreidat from the town of Al-Dhahiriya, and 18-year-old Moataz Kamal Jawabra from Al-Arroub refugee camp.
According to reports, both individuals and members of their families were subjected to physical assault, and their homes were vandalized during the raids.
In a related development, Israeli forces set up multiple military checkpoints across Hebron, closing several main and secondary roads using iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds, further restricting movement in the area
.
The kidnapping come amid ongoing tensions and frequent military operations across the West Bank, raising concerns among local communities and human rights observers.
