DaysofPal- Hamas Movement has condemned an Israeli airstrike targeting a police facility in Gaza, describing it as a dangerous escalation and part of the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement released Tuesday, Hamas said the strike hit a police station in the northwest of Gaza City, resulting in the death of a child who was passing by the area, and injuring several police personnel.
The Movement characterized the attack as a new crime within what it described as a sustained offensive against the Gaza Strip, accusing Israeli occupation of pursuing a systematic policy of genocide aimed at spreading chaos and undermining social stability in the enclave.
According to the statement, such crimes are intended to facilitate plans to displace Palestinians.
Hamas also called on international mediators and the United Nations to take direct responsibility in pressuring the Israeli government, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, to halt military operations and adhere to ceasefire commitments.
The Movement urged mediators to act urgently to stop the ongoing Israeli violations, including continued airstrikes, blockade measures, and deteriorating humanitarian conditions.
Additionally, Hamas appealed to “free people around the world” to intensify public pressure on Israeli occupation and its allies to end the Israeli continued crimes against Palestinians in both the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
