Israeli occupation forces arrested Thursday, 19 January 2023 a number of Palestinians including children in the Ras al-Amud neighborhood, south of occupied Jerusalem.
Local media reported that Israeli occupation troops invaded the Ras al-Amud neighborhood and detained 5 Palestinian children after storming their families’ homes.
The detainees were identified as the two Palestinian brothers Ahmed and Ayham Nawaf al-Salaymeh, Mustafa Akl al-Salaymeh, Moataz Khader al-Salaymeh, and Muhammad Khalil al-Salaymeh.
Israeli military troops also stormed the Shuafat refugee camp northeast of occupied Jerusalem and arrested two Palestinian young men whose identities were not known yet.
In 2022, Israeli occupation detained 2765 Palestinians including women and minors. Moreover, Israeli occupation issued 98 administrative detentions, 222 house arrests, and 138 prison sentences against the Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem, stated AlQastal News.
