Israeli occupation forces raided Tuesday, 15 November 2022 the home of the murdered Palestinian youth Muhammad Murad Soof in the village of Hares, west of Salfit.
Israeli occupation forces subjected the killed Palestinian youth’s mother and relatives to interrogation for more than four hours claiming that he had carried out a stabbing and run-over operation that caused the killing of three colonial Israeli settlers.
Muhammad’s uncle, Marwan Soof said that the Israeli occupation troopers held the family members in two rooms including the children, and tied the hands of a number of them while they were interrogated by the Israeli armed soldiers who threatened the family members with death.
He noted that more than 15 of Muhammad’s relatives were subjected to field investigations. Israeli occupation forces accompanied by an intelligence force took the measurements of the Muhammad family’s house as a preparatory step to demolish it the in the coming days, he added.
He continued, Israeli occupation troopers raided the homes of Muhammad’s uncles located in the same area destroyed surveillance cameras and seized the recordings.
Israeli occupation forces arrested the 16-year-old Palestinian child Hadi Mustafa Sami Soof, cousin of the killed Muhammad while his other 21-year- old cousin Zakaria Muhammad Sami Soof was detained for several hours before releasing him.
Earlier today, the Palestinian Ministry of Health informed that the 18-year-old Sof was shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces in the industrial zone of the illegal Israeli settlement of ‘Ariel’ built on stolen Palestinian lands northwest of Salfit.
The killed Palestinian youth Muhammad Soof has 3 sisters and 3 brothers and he has been supporting them since the dead of his father 3 years ago.
“Muhammad left school in the tenth grade in order to support the family after his father’s death”, said Hajar Soof, Muhammad’s mother.
Earlier, Israeli occupation forces closed the main entrances to the village of Hares and prevented Palestinian citizens from entering or leaving it. They also obstructed the movement of citizens inside the village after storming it for several hours.
