Israel occupation forces IOF forced on Sunday, August 14, a Palestinian family to self-demolish a room of their house in the Bab Hatta neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces forced the Palestinian Othman Aljawi to self-demolish a room in his house that housed five children.
Othman Aljawi, a father of five children, said that he had to self-demolish the room because the Israeli occupation forces threatened him that he would incur heavy losses estimated at 50,000 shekels if the demolition was carried out by the municipality.
Aljawi added that the room was built four years ago on an area of 40 meters at a time when the house was too small to accommodate his five children.
