IOF Demolish Palestinian House in Shuafat Refugee Camp

he Israeli occupation forces (IOF) demolished today Wednesday, January 25, the interior walls of Uday al-Tamimi’s house in the Al-Salam area of Shuafat refugee camp in occupied Jerusalem.

The occupation forces raided a residential building in which the house of the martyr Uday al-Tamimi is located according to what the family said. It is located on the sixth floor of the residential building,

According to Israeli media, 300 Israeli soldiers stormed the Shuafat refugee camp to demolish Uday al-Tamimi’s house.

Al-Tamimi, 22, was killed by the occupation forces on October, 19, 2022, near the Israeli “Ma’ale Adumim” settlement, which is built on Palestinian lands, east of occupied Jerusalem.

They took measurements of his family’s house on October 11.

On October 8, 2022, Al-Tamimi opened fire at the Shuafat military checkpoint. The attack resulted in the kill of the soldier, Noa Lazar and the injury of another.

Over the course of 11 days, the Israeli security services were unable to reach Al-Tamimi, despite launching extensive sweeping operations inside the Shuafat camp and the neighboring town of Anata. As a result, violent confrontations between the Israeli forces and the Palestinian residents broke out, as they occupation forces detained of a number of Al-Tamimi’s relatives.
