DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued attacks on several areas across the Gaza Strip on Thursday, carrying out artillery shelling and firing heavily from military helicopters despite the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 10.
According to local reporters, Israeli helicopters opened sustained fire on neighborhoods east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza early Thursday morning.
The eastern parts of the city were also hit by continuous artillery bombardment, adding to the fear and displacement already gripping the population.
Ground forces positioned near the area reportedly fired intensively toward the southern districts of Khan Younis, further escalating the situation on the ground.
On Wednesday, five Palestinians, including a child and a woman, were killed in Israeli attacks targeting Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza and the outskirts of Rafah in the south.
Residents and officials say these repeated attacks are clear violations of the ceasefire, which has been repeatedly breached since its announcement.
The ongoing Israeli strikes have deepened the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where civilians continue to face instability, displacement, and shortages of essential supplies.
