DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have continued to violate the ceasefire and calm agreement in the Gaza Strip for the 67th consecutive day, amid the ongoing siege and restrictions on the entry of humanitarian and relief aid at the agreed pace.
The Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes at dawn on Tuesday targeting various areas in southern Gaza and Gaza City.
Israeli forces also renewed artillery shelling on Tuesday morning, targeting the eastern areas of Gaza City.
According to local residents, Israeli aircraft, in coordination with artillery shelling and heavy gunfire, targeted several areas in the al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City. Artillery strikes reportedly caused fires to break out in the “al-Kibbutz” area east of the city.
Artillery and airstrikes also hit eastern areas of the cities of Rafah and Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Local sources noted that the Israeli occupation forces carried out large-scale demolition operations targeting civilian residential buildings in the city of Rafah.
In addition, the southern section of Regional Road southwest of Khan Younis was subjected to artillery shelling accompanied by heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles.
The Sand News Agency correspondent, citing local sources, added that Israeli artillery shelling also targeted areas east of the al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
