DaysofPal- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued bombing across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, in ongoing violations of a ceasefire agreement.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, at least 687 people have been killed and 1,845 injured in Israeli attacks since the ceasefire was first announced.
Rescue teams have also recovered 756 bodies during the same period, where the ministry added that the overall death toll since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,263, with 171,944 reported injuries.
Officials warned that an unknown number of victims remain trapped under rubble or lying in inaccessible areas, as emergency and civil defense crews struggle to reach them.
In the latest developments, Israeli artillery targeted areas east of the Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Israeli military vehicles also opened fire toward the eastern parts of Gaza City, while Israeli aircraft fired toward the eastern areas of Khan Younis in the south.
Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem said that the Israeli occupation is escalating its military campaign, saying attacks have targeted civilians and Palestinian police positions across the enclave.
He described the actions as a “blatant violation” of the ceasefire agreement and called on mediating and guarantor countries to intervene and ensure compliance.
The continued Israeli strikes come as global attention remains focused on broader regional tensions, including the ongoing Israeli-US war on Iran, raising concerns that the situation in Gaza may be receiving diminished international scrutiny.
