DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched several airstrikes, artillery fire, and heavy gunfire at multiple locations across the Gaza Strip early Saturday, according to Palestinian sources, who said the attacks represent ongoing breaches of the ceasefire agreement.
Local reports said Israeli warplanes carried out air raids on eastern parts of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza and on the eastern outskirts of the al-Bureij refugee camp.
Additional strikes were also reported east of the al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.
In the south, Israeli military vehicles reportedly opened fire north of Rafah, while artillery shelling targeted eastern areas of Khan Younis.
In northern Gaza, heavy gunfire was reported from Israeli vehicles firing toward Jabal al-Reis, east of Jabalia.
Witnesses said Israeli helicopters and armored vehicles fired intensively at eastern sections of Khan Younis, while helicopter gunships were also seen opening fire in the direction of Rafah.
Palestinian officials say such attacks have continued despite the ceasefire that has been in place since October 10.
Although the second phase of the truce came into effect last Wednesday, officials report that Israeli operations since then have killed at least 20 Palestinians.
The latest incidents have raised renewed concerns about the durability of the ceasefire, as military activity continues across the besieged Gaza Strip.
