DaysofPal- The Gaza Ministry of Health said that 14 Palestinians were killed and 18 others injured across the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, amid continued Israeli attacks and bombing despite the start of the second phase of the ceasefire.
The ministry reported that hospitals received the bodies of 14 victims, including 12 people who were newly killed and two whose remains were recovered from beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings.
The ministry added that an undetermined number of victims are still believed to be trapped under debris or lying in streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews remain unable to access several affected areas.
According to the Health Ministry, at least 463 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire took effect on October 11 last year, while 1,269 others have been injured and 712 bodies have been recovered from areas devastated by bombardment.
The ministry said the cumulative toll from the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza has now reached 71,455 killed and 171,347 wounded since October 7, 2023.
Health officials continue to warn that Gaza’s humanitarian and medical conditions remain critical, citing ongoing ceasefire violations and severe restrictions on rescue operations and the delivery of relief and medical assistance.
