Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continued Tuesday, May 2, 2023, to impose restrictions by setting up military checkpoints at the entrances to the occupied city of Jericho, from several sides, for the eleventh day in a row.
Local sources stated that the occupation forces continued to close 4 main entrances leading to the occupied city of Jericho, as well as a number of secondary roads, in addition to going after Palestinian-owned vehicles and searching their contents.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation closed yesterday evening the two northern entrances to the city of occupied Jericho with an iron gate and cement blocks placed at the eastern entrance.
The occupation forces had also kidnapped the released prisoner Majdi Abdel Qader Mahmoud Oweidat (30), after raiding his house in Ain Al-Sultan camp in the city of occupied Jericho, wounding him with live bullets.
