A number of Palestinian farmers suffocated Saturday, March 11, 2023 as a result of being targeted with tear gas by the Israeli occupation forces, east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), stationed in the Israeli military sites east of Khan Younis, fired heavy machine guns and toxic tear gas canisters at Palestinian farmers east of the towns of Khuza’a and Abasan, which led to the injury of a number of them with suffocation.
It’s noteworthy that the occupation forces deliberately shoot and fire tear gas canisters on a daily basis towards Palestinian farmers in the north and east of the Gaza Strip, and prevent them from obtaining their livelihood in safety and security.
Israeli occupation imposes air, land, and sea blockade against the Gaza Strip. Israeli forces along the apartheid wall open fire at Palestinian farmers and their lands, causing losses to their crops.
