The Palestinian Ministry of Interior Affairs said that nearly a half of million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip spent the first Friday of June at Gaza beach.
As temperatures rise, Gaza families start to flock to the beach to escape life hardships under the Israeli blockade imposed since 2006.
The beach is considered the sole escape for Palestinian families in Gaza as the electricity crisis is exacerbated in summer.
