Hamas warned, on Wednesday 13 April 2022, the Israeli occupation leaders and extremist groups against implementing the scheme of “animal slaughtering” during the Passover in Al-Aqsa Mosque and affirmed that the Palestinian people will not allow this at any cost.
“We hold the occupation responsible for all the repercussions as this represents a dangerous escalation that crosses all red lines and a direct assault on the beliefs and feelings of the Islamic Ummah during this holy month,” said Hamas.
“In this historical moment and blessed days, we call on our Palestinian people to be an impenetrable shield in defending Al-Aqsa Mosque and the holy sanctities and deter the extremist groups and restrain them with all possible means,” it added.
The movement called on the Arab and Islamic countries to assume their historical responsibility of protecting Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque and support the Palestinian people in confronting the Israeli occupation and act urgently to prevent this serious desecration of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa that provokes the feelings of all Muslims.
It also called on international bodies and organizations to take all steps to prevent this danger that could lead to setting the entire region on fire.
