The Palestinian Islamic movement Hamas warned on Sunday, September 18, against the Israeli settlers’ calls for mass raids in Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Hamas spokesperson in Jerusalem Mohammed Hamada stated that Israeli intentions against Al-Aqsa are extremely dangerous, adding that “the occupation wants to establish new realities, foremost of which is the temporal and spatial division.”
“We look with anger at what the occupation intends to do,” Hamas Spokesman said, calling on the Palestinian people in West Bank, Jerusalem, and the 1948 occupied territories to mobilize at and defend Al-Aqsa.
Hamas spokesperson Mohammed Hamada pointed out that the movement holds Israel fully responsible for its repeated incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing that the Palestinian people will not stand idle by while Israel defiles the holy site.
He concluded that comprehensive Palestinian resistance in Occupied Palestine proved that it has the ability to respond properly to Israeli violations.
In flagrant violation of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa, the Israeli occupation has recently given permission for extremist Zionists to storm the Al-Aqsa mosque, the third holiest Mosque in Islam, to commemorate what so-called Jewish holidays, giving the green light for more violence.
