Hamas Movement said Wednesday the recent revelation by the Ministry of Health in the Gaza enclave regarding the unearthing of seven mass graves within local hospitals underscores a harrowing reality.
The latest discovery, unveiled today, Wednesday, at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City—marking the third such find within its confines—serves as yet another poignant testament to the egregious acts perpetrated by the Israeli occupation military forces.
This systematic aggression, targeted at both our populace and the vital medical infrastructure, evidences a calculated endeavor to dismantle the very pillars of existence, all in pursuit of a genocidal agenda reminiscent of historical atrocities, the statement reads.
The successive uncovering of these mass graves’ sites within hospital precincts, where medical teams have thus far retrieved the remains of 520 fallen compatriots, impels an urgent call to action.
“We urge the international community and the United Nations to employ all available means to curtail this ruthless onslaught against our people—a campaign of brutality that defies the bounds of human comprehension,” Hamas added in the statement.
It also fervently demanded international human rights organizations and pertinent bodies to meticulously catalogue these heinous transgressions and be brought forth before the esteemed chambers of the International Criminal Court and other competent judicial forums.
The movement further hoped that justice be meted out swiftly and resolutely, thereby holding accountable both the renegade ‘Isarel’ and its culpable leadership.
