The Hamas Movement said that Israel’s escalated strikes on southern and eastern Lebanon reflect the “Nazi nature” of its regime.
In a statement published on Monday, Hamas said “The Zionist terrorist aggression against Lebanon and the brotherly Lebanese people continues, which has led to the ascent of hundreds of martyrs and injured civilians since this morning,”.
“We affirm that this wide-ranging barbaric aggression is a war crime, and reflects the Nazi nature of the Israeli army, as well as the predicament that Netanyahu is experiencing due to his futile policies that refuse to halt the genocide war in the Gaza Strip,” Hamas added.
The statement came on the heels of the Israeli intensified bombardment of southern and eastern Lebanon, which killed at least 272 civilians and wounded over 1000 others over the past few hours.
The Lebanese health ministry reported many women, children, and paramedics are among the victims.
