DaysofPal- Hamas said on Friday that Israel’s airstrikes across the Gaza Strip over recent hours represent a continuation of a campaign of mass killing against civilians and a deliberate effort to undermine and derail the ceasefire agreement.
In a statement, the Movement said Israeli forces had escalated their attacks by bombing residential and industrial buildings in Jabalia refugee camp and Gaza City’s Yarmouk and Zeitoun neighborhoods. It also reported the destruction of a mosque and surrounding residential area in Al-Bureij refugee camp, alongside new evacuation orders affecting several homes and neighborhoods.
Hamas accused the Israeli government of continuing to violate its obligations under the ceasefire agreement, while pressing ahead with military attacks and widespread destruction in Gaza despite the truce.
The Movement called on the United States, as a sponsor of the Sharm el-Sheikh agreement, as well as the guarantor states and mediators, to take urgent action to halt the ongoing Israeli violations and attacks against the Palestinian people.
