DaysofPal – A senior Hamas delegation headed by chief negotiator Khalil al-Hayya arrived in Cairo on Sunday to discuss the implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement with Egyptian mediators, Palestinian factions, and other political groups.
The visit comes as part of ongoing diplomatic efforts to ensure full adherence to the ceasefire accord signed in Sharm el-Sheikh on October 9, 2025, and to address unresolved issues surrounding humanitarian aid, reconstruction, and prisoner exchanges.
According to sources close to the talks, the delegation will hold a series of meetings with Egyptian officials in the coming hours aimed at reinforcing the truce and halting repeated Israeli violations, which Palestinian factions say have intensified in recent days.
