DaysofPal — The Government Media Office (GMO) in Gaza revealed that Israeli occupation forces have committed thousands of violations of the ceasefire agreement, saying that breaches have escalated since the truce came into effect 251 days ago.
In a statement released on Saturday, the office reported that a total of 3,338 violations have been recorded during the ceasefire period.
These incidents, it said, resulted in the killing of 1,012 Palestinians and the injury of 3,208 others.
The statement also noted that approximately 100 Palestinians were detained during the same period, while movement restrictions at border crossings have persisted, further worsening the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
According to the media office, the flow of humanitarian aid has fallen significantly short of agreed levels.
It said that around 54,000 aid trucks have entered Gaza, compared to the 150,000 trucks that were expected under the terms of the agreement.
In terms of travel, the office reported that only 7,417 people were allowed to leave Gaza through the Rafah crossing, far below the 20,600 individuals who were supposed to be permitted to travel during the same timeframe.
The Government Media Office warned that the continuation of these violations is exacerbating the already deteriorating humanitarian conditions in Gaza and undermining commitments related to the ceasefire.
It called on relevant parties to ensure full compliance with the agreement and to take immediate steps to address the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the territory.
