Occupied West Bank cities launched a general strike on Tuesday morning, July 4, 2023, in response to the ongoing Israeli aggression in Jenin City and its camp.
The strike comes after Israel’s massacre in Jenin camp, in which Israeli Occupation Forces killed 10 Palestinians and injured over 100 others.
The Coordination Committee of the Factions in Bethlehem urged Palestinian citizens to gather at the Bab al-Zqaq junction at 12:00 noon in solidarity with the people of Jenin.
In Hebron, the Fatah movement declared a comprehensive general strike, calling for demonstrations at confrontation points with the occupation forces.
Nablus launched a comprehensive general strike to condemn the Israeli massacres in the Jenin camp, while in Ramallah and Al-Bireh, national forces also called for a comprehensive general strike and a solidarity stand for Jenin at the Manara roundabout.
Jerusalem’s national and Islamic forces designated Tuesday as a day of comprehensive strike against the occupation and its settlers in the entire province.
The Israeli aggression on Jenin and its camp in the northern occupied West Bank continues, with ongoing airstrikes and the forced displacement of hundreds of Palestinian families.
The death toll currently stands at 10, with over 100 Palestinians injured, including 20 in critical condition.
