DaysofPal—The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that two children have died within the past 24 hours due to starvation and severe malnutrition, bringing the total number of deaths from hunger-related causes to 459, including 154 children.
Since the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) officially declared famine in Gaza, 181 deaths have been documented, among them 39 children.
The United Nations stressed that there is no safe place for Palestinians in Gaza, adding that the so-called “safe zones” designated by Israel in the south are nothing more than death traps.
This mounting toll underscores the deliberate use of starvation as a weapon of war by Israel, a policy that has left Gaza’s population, especially children, to face death not only from bombs but from hunger itself. Despite global awareness of the famine, international action remains paralyzed, deepening the sense of abandonment felt by Palestinians trapped under siege.
