The Ministry of Health in Gaza has strongly condemned on Saturday, October 7, 2023, the repeated actions of the Israeli occupation forces targeting medical teams and medical facilities.
These ongoing violations have tragically resulted in the loss of three healthcare workers’ lives and injuries to three others due to direct targeting of the Indonesian Hospital and Nasser Medical Complex.
Additionally, Israeli occupation warplanes destroyed five government and private ambulance vehicles in the attacks.
The Ministry has also issued a grave health warning due to the severe consequences of power outages in Gaza.
“With the electrical lines to the Gaza Strip disrupted, hospitals are forced to rely on backup generators for extended periods, and there are concerns that these generators may fail due to their wear and limited fuel supplies,” the Ministry stated.
