DaysofPal- The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Monday that the number of Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip by Israeli attacks since the ceasefire took effect on October 10 has risen to 904, amid continued Israeli violations and bombing.
In its latest daily update, the ministry reported that six people were killed and eight others injured over the past 24 hours.
According to the statement, five of the victims were killed in recent attacks, while one individual died from wounds sustained earlier.
The ministry also warned that an unspecified number of victims remain trapped under rubble or lying in the streets, as emergency and civil defense teams are unable to reach them due to ongoing hostilities and dangerous conditions on the ground.
Since the ceasefire began, a total of 2,713 injuries have been recorded, alongside 777 bodies recovered during rescue operations, the ministry added.
The cumulative toll since the start of the war on October 7, 2023, has now reached 72,797 fatalities, with 172,821 people injured.
The figures come as humanitarian conditions in Gaza continue to deteriorate, with relief efforts hampered by access restrictions and the scale of destruction.
The ongoing Israeli aggression has placed immense strain on Gaza’s already fragile healthcare system, while aid organizations warn of worsening shortages in medical supplies and critical services.
