DaysofPal – The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip said Monday that the Israeli occupation army has violated the ceasefire agreement 282 times since it came into effect on October 10, while the Hamas movement has documented all the violations that occurred over the past month.
In a statement, the Media Office said the Israeli violations have resulted in the killing of 242 Palestinians and injuring more than 620 others, stressing that “the occupation continues to breach the agreement flagrantly and systematically.”
The statement detailed that Israel had carried out 88 shooting incidents targeting civilians directly, 12 incursions into residential areas beyond what is known as the “yellow line,” 124 bombardments and attacks, and 52 demolitions of civilian buildings, in addition to 23 arrests across various parts of the Gaza Strip.
The office condemned these violations, holding the Israeli army fully responsible for their humanitarian and security consequences, and warning that continued violations “pose a clear threat to the spirit of the agreement and constitute a breach of Israel’s commitments before the international community and the guarantor states.”
It called on U.S. President Donald Trump, as well as the guarantor countries and mediators, to assume their responsibilities and exert genuine pressure on Israel to immediately halt its violations and honor its signed commitments.
The office also urged the immediate and complete reopening of Gaza’s crossings, facilitating the entry of food, humanitarian aid, and commercial trucks, as clearly stipulated in the ceasefire agreement, “not partially or selectively.”
According to the statement, the average number of aid trucks entering Gaza daily does not exceed 24 percent of what was agreed, 145 trucks per day instead of the 600 trucks promised under the deal.
In a related statement, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor said that Israel continues to commit acts of genocide in Gaza despite the ceasefire, recording an average of eight Palestinian deaths daily.
The Geneva-based organization added that Israel persists in imposing life-threatening living conditions on Gaza’s two million residents, preventing them from recovering from a humanitarian catastrophe that has persisted for more than 25 months, amid international silence and failure to protect or deliver justice to the victims.
The Monitor confirmed that since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, it has documented the continuation of deliberate killings by Israeli forces, averaging eight fatalities and over twenty injuries per day, under the ongoing comprehensive blockade imposed on the enclave.
