DaysofPal – Israel has committed at least 875 violations of the ceasefire agreement in effect since October 10, resulting in the killing of 411 Palestinians and the injury of 1,112 others, while allowing in less than half of the agreed humanitarian aid, Gaza’s government said on Monday.
In a statement, Gaza’s Government Media Office said Israeli forces had continued to carry out “grave and systematic violations” of the ceasefire from the date it entered into force on October 10, 2025, until Sunday evening, December 21, 2025, a period of 73 days.
The office described the violations as a “blatant breach of international humanitarian law” and a deliberate undermining of the humanitarian protocol attached to the ceasefire agreement.
Hundreds of Attacks and Civilian Deaths
According to official monitoring, Israeli forces carried out 875 violations, including 265 incidents of live fire directed at civilians and 49 incursions by military vehicles into residential areas.
Authorities also documented 421 shelling and targeting attacks against unarmed civilians and their homes, as well as 150 cases of demolition and destruction of houses, institutions, and civilian buildings.
These violations led to the deaths of 411 Palestinians, injuries to 1,112 others, and 45 unlawful arrests, the statement said.
The Gaza government accused Israel of failing to meet its humanitarian obligations, noting that only 17,819 aid trucks entered Gaza out of the 42,800 trucks that were supposed to be allowed in during the same period.
This amounts to an average of 244 trucks per day, far below the agreed 600 daily trucks, representing a compliance rate of just 41 percent.
Officials warned that the shortfall has prolonged severe shortages of food, medicine, water, and fuel, worsening what they described as an already catastrophic humanitarian situation.
Fuel deliveries were particularly limited. Only 394 fuel trucks entered Gaza out of 3,650 that were supposed to arrive, averaging five trucks per day instead of the agreed 50. This represents just 10 percent compliance, leaving hospitals, bakeries, water pumping stations, and sewage systems operating at near-shutdown levels.
Warning of an Unprecedented Humanitarian Disaster
The Government Media Office warned of an “unprecedented and deep humanitarian crisis” as Israel continues to close border crossings and block the entry of tents, mobile homes, caravans, and shelter materials, in violation of both the ceasefire agreement and international humanitarian law.
It added that these restrictive policies, combined with recent severe weather conditions, have caused the collapse of 46 previously damaged homes and buildings, killing 15 Palestinians who had taken refuge in them after losing their original homes, with no safe alternatives available.
Gaza authorities stressed that continued delays and violations risk further loss of life and called for urgent international action to enforce the ceasefire and ensure the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian assistance.
