DaysofPal – The Resistance Security in the Gaza Strip revealed on Wednesday that it has detected growing attempts by hostile entities to collect information through opinion polls circulating on social media platforms.
In a press statement, the Resistance Security explained that these polls sometimes appear under general or national titles, but their real purpose is to monitor public sentiment and assess trends within the internal front, as well as to collect security-related data about activists and supporters.
The statement warned against engaging with or voting in any opinion poll of unknown origin or not issued by official and trustworthy sources, emphasizing that public awareness is the protective shield that safeguards the internal front from infiltration.
It stressed the importance of ignoring suspicious polls, avoiding their sharing or circulation in any form, and refraining from providing any personal information or details related to field or social conditions.
The Resistance Security also called on citizens to immediately report any suspicious polls that appear on social media platforms, underscoring the need to rely solely on official and accredited sources for obtaining information.
The statement concluded with a strong warning: “Failure to adhere to these directives grants the enemy exactly what it seeks, free of charge, and weakens the internal front.”
On another note, the statement recalled that since October 7, 2023, Israel has continued its genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, with U.S. and European support, involving killing, starvation, destruction, displacement, and mass arrests, while ignoring international calls and ICJ orders to halt its aggression.
These attacks have resulted in the killing and injury of more than 239,000 Palestinians, including children and women, in addition to over 11,000 missing persons, hundreds of thousands displaced, and a widespread famine that has claimed numerous lives, especially among children.
