DaysofPal – A flotilla aiming to break the Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip continues its journey across the Mediterranean Sea, despite recent interceptions by Israeli forces targeting several of its vessels.
Organizers confirmed that dozens of boats remain at sea and are pressing forward toward the Gaza coastline in an effort to reach the territory and challenge the ongoing blockade.
Some vessels are reportedly adjusting their routes following Israeli attacks and interceptions that occurred near Greek waters as part of efforts to reorganize and continue the voyage.
The flotilla includes international activists and solidarity campaigners in an attempt to draw global attention to the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
They indicated that maritime efforts are expected to persist despite mounting challenges.
Last week, Israeli occupation forces attacked the “Global Steadfastness Flotilla,” kidnapping dozens of individuals in an operation that activists called an act of piracy in international waters.
The latest developments come amid increasing grassroots and international initiatives to deliver aid to Gaza, with organizers reiterating their determination to continue the journey until reaching the enclave.
