Former Mossad deputy chief, Israeli army officer with the rank of Major General in the reserves, Amiram Levin, acknowledged on Sunday, August 13, 2023, that the Israeli army is committing war crimes in the West Bank, and that Israel practices a system of racial segregation, “apartheid”.

During an interview with the Israeli public radio, Levin said, “The Israeli is complicit in committing war crimes,” referring to the increasing numbers of settlers in the Israeli army and their transformation into leaders and central ministers in the current government.

He added, “Walk in Hebron and you will see streets where Arabs cannot walk. This is painful, but this is reality. And it’s best to confront it as strongly as possible rather than ignore it.”

The former head of Mossad affirmed that the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has remained in power longer than he should have.

He pointed out that Finance Minister Tzachi Hanegbi and National Security Minister Eitam Ben Gevir, along with ministers from their parties, are encouraging massacres against Palestinians.
