DaysfoPal- The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that 11 civilians have died in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours due to famine and severe malnutrition, a consequence of the ongoing Israeli starvation policies imposed by the Israeli occupation forces on civilians and displaced people.
Among the victims were two children, bringing the total number of deaths from famine in Gaza to 300, including 117 children, the ministry confirmed in a statement Monday morning.
Officials warned that these figures highlight the catastrophic humanitarian conditions across Gaza, as the Israeli blockade continues to restrict the entry of vital food and medical supplies, particularly to the northern areas of the territory.
Gaza, home to over two million residents, has faced worsening living and health conditions since October 7, 2023, amid the ongoing Israeli genocide.
The conflict has caused an almost total collapse of healthcare services and essential infrastructure, leaving the population without adequate access to food, water, and electricity.
The Ministry of Health urged the international community to intervene immediately to prevent further deaths and alleviate the mounting humanitarian crisis.
