The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor reported that between April 20 and 26, Israeli forces killed 345 Palestinians and injured 770 others, with at least 94% of the victims being civilians.
In a press statement on Monday, the organization revealed that children made up 51% of the casualties, while 16% were women and 8% were elderly.
Field investigations confirmed that the majority of adult men killed—63 out of 81—were working in civilian professions with no links to any military or political groups, further confirming that most of the victims were non-combatants.
For the remaining adult male victims, no credible evidence has emerged suggesting they were involved in combat or affiliated with militant activity.
Despite this, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues to issue public statements denying that civilians are being targeted—claims Euro-Med describes as misleading and an attempt to cover up the reality on the ground.
The organization also accused Israeli forces of deliberately using drones and missiles to target women, children, and unarmed civilians, including strikes on displacement shelters and tents.
Euro-Med criticized recent Israeli “investigations” into these attacks, describing them as lacking seriousness or independence, and emphasized that they do not relieve Israel of its obligations under international law.
In its closing remarks, Euro-Med condemned the international community’s silence, calling it a moral failure and a blatant breach of legal responsibilities under international law, especially the 1948 Genocide Convention, which obligates states to prevent genocide and hold its perpetrators accountable.
