Israeli occupation killed 32 Palestinian children in the occupied West Bank so far in 2022 in many instances through what appears to be excessive use of lethal force, European Union stated in a statement.
The European Union called for an immediate investigation into the slaying of the 16-year-old Palestinian girl Fella Al-Masalma with the Israeli occupation forces live bullets on 16 November and to ensure accountability.
“Israel, as part of the Convention on the Rights of Children, must guarantee the rights of Palestinian children, including ensuring their protection, care, dignity, and the right to life.”, the EU added.
European Union showed its sincere condolences to the family of the Palestinian girl Masalma saying “She was supposed to celebrate her 16th birthday today but she was tragically killed by the bullets of Israeli troopers in Ramallah”
In the same context, the United Kingdom urged the Israeli occupation to launch a thorough probe into the killing of the Palestinian Girl Fulla Masalmeh by Israeli forces’ fire in Ramallah.
The UK stressed that it continues to urge self-restraint in the use of live ammunition by Israeli forces.
