Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent Sunday, August 13, 2023, specific and direct messages regarding the Palestinian issue and the file of the city of Jerusalem, following an important meeting with more than 23 scholars of Islamic Sharia held in Ankara recently.
Sources participated in the meeting stated that the Turkish president focused in his interventions and discussions with the delegation of scholars on the fact that Turkey has a very keen interest in the Jerusalem file, and supports the steadfastness of the Palestinian people.
The Turkish president said that his country is following in detail the ongoing Israeli violations, which became systematic in occupied Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
During July 2023, at least 6558 colonial Israeli settlers invaded the courtyards of Al-Aqsa mosque and performed provocative Talmudic rituals in some of its yards, citing Hebrew holidays as a pretext.
