Scores of Israeli settlers invaded Thursday morning, August 17, 2023, the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed provocative rituals under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
Local sources in occupied Jerusalem reported that tens of Israeli settlers broke into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and provocatively performed Talmudic rituals from the Bab al-Rahma area, opposite the Dome of the Rock, before they left from the Al-Silsilah Gate.
Israeli colonial settlers, backed by the Israeli occupation forces, repeatedly invade Muslims’ holy places in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem in a flagrant violation of all international conventions and laws, guaranteeing Palestinians’ right to worship in their sacred places.
Meanwhile, Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem continue their calls to mobilize at Al-Aqsa to confront the daily Israeli settlers’ incursions.
