DaysofPal- At least 24 people have been killed since dawn, according to medical sources, as attacks have targeted various locations throughout the besieged strip, trapping dozens beneath the debris.
Three Palestinians were killed in a strike on Al-Wehda Street in Gaza City. One person was killed and multiple others were injured in another airstrike in the Al-Nasr neighborhood.
Israeli forces killed one person and injured others when they targeted a motorbike east of the city in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. Four people, including a child, were killed in a different attack in Jorat Al-Lout.
Dr. Munir al-Bursh, Director of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, stated that the ongoing siege and Israeli attacks have resulted in a severe shortage of medical personnel in northern Gaza and Gaza City. Due to a shortage of medical supplies, many injured people have perished in the streets, with over 10,000 people reported injured throughout the Gaza Strip, Dr. al-Bursh explained.
Furthermore, Dr. al-Bursh disclosed horrific information regarding the nature of the attacks, stating that some victims were vaporized as a result of the use of weapons that are prohibited by international law. He described cases of severe burns and unrecognizable injuries, underscoring the devastating impact of the airstrikes on the civilian population.
“The [Israeli] occupation uses internationally prohibited weapons, and there are testimonies of some bodies being evaporated. There were types of burns we had never seen before, and entire bodies were vaporized,” he said.
Al-Bursh also emphasized the urgent need for an international investigation into the types of weapons used by Israel, citing cases in northern Gaza where bodies were “evaporated” during what he described as an Israeli campaign of “ethnic cleansing and mass killings.”
Meanwhile, Israeli forces have surrounded numerous homes in Gaza City, cutting off access to food and medicine, while trapped families issue desperate pleas for aid as the humanitarian crisis deepens. With constant bombardment, a rising death toll, and serious humanitarian issues, the situation in Gaza is only getting worse.
