Dozens of Palestinian protesters were reported injured as Israeli occupation forces attack the anti-settlement marches in Qalqilya and Nablus with live bullets and tear gas canisters, on Friday, July 29.
Tens of Palestinians on Friday afternoon joined in anti-settlement activities in the Jabal Subaih area in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus. Israeli forces attacked them with live bullets and tear gas canisters, injuring at least 17 Palestinian protesters.
In a related incident, the Israeli forces attacked the Beit Dajan weekly protest, preventing the Palestinians from accessing their lands, on which Israel has built an outpost.
At least 10 protesters were wounded as Israeli forces opened fire and tear gas canisters at the Palestinians. Local sources reported the Israeli forces attempted to detain a number of Beit Dajan`s youths.
In Qalqilya, a number of Palestinians were injured while participating in Kafr Qaddoum’s weekly protest which is held against the Israeli settlement expansion every Friday.
On Fridays, Palestinians take part in marches in protest of the Israeli settlement expansion and land confiscation in the West Bank cities and villages, including Burin, Beita, Kafr Qaddom, and Beit Dajan.
