DayofPal– US Republican congressman Rep. Randy Fine said Gaza deserves the sheer destruction resulted from the ongoing Israeli genocide and its consequences.

Fine responded with a blunt “Yes” as he replied to a pro-Israel account, which posted on X, “Did Gaza deserve this destruction?” alongside a photo showing massive devastation in the Strip, justifying Israel’s bombardment in Gaza.

Fine, a staunch ally of Israel and US President Donald Trump, is known for his extreme racism and anti-Palestinian rhetoric. In February, he pledged to recognize Israeli sovereignty over both Gaza and the West Bank if elected.

He also vowed to expel native Palestinians from what he called “the State of Israel,” and suggested yo “Nuke” Gaza.

In his previous remarks, Fine referred to Palestinians as “monsters” and “demons” who “deserve no state, only death.” In 2021, he responded to a photo of a murdered Palestinian child on social media by writing, “Quite well, actually! Thanks for the pic!”

In July, Fine called for starving Palestinians in Gaza, saying, “Release the hostages. Until then, starve away,” amid growing warnings that the enclave was “on the verge of catastrophic hunger,” while people are starving to death due to the ongoing Israeli blockade.

His remarks came to refute a report that people in Gaza have died from malnutrition and hunger amid the Israeli-made famine.

In June, Fine called for “nuking” Gaza in a CNN interview. “We nuked the Japanese twice to get unconditional surrender. That needs to be the same here. There is something deeply wrong with this culture and it needs to be defeated,” he said.
