Following a visit to the Brazilian neighborhood in Rafah, Brazil ambassador to Palestine, Francisco Mauro Brasil de Holanda on Monday watched Brazil’s national soccer team match against Switzerland in the 2022 World Cup in the Gaza Strip.
The Brazilian ambassador joined the Palestinian refugees in Brazilian camp to watch his country’s match as an act of solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Since the commence of the international tournament in Qatar, fans from all over the world exhibited solidarity with the Palestinian people by unfurling Palestinian flags and boycotting the Israeli media covering the World Cup in Qatar.
