DayofPal– Israeli far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, described by some officials as the minister of chaos, said that he is working “hard to promote the encouragement” of the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in northern Gaza Strip.
He told Israeli Army Radio that Netanyahu is showing “some openness” over the idea of “encouraging migration” of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, saying that ideas of settlement in Gaza don’t satisfy him as he carves for entire expulsion of Palestinians from Gaza.
Ben-Gvir also called for the Israeli attacks to be intensified in Gaza. He further claimed that Israel has a historic opportunity to defeat Hamas, restore deterrence, reoccupy the Gaza Strip and encourage voluntary emigration.
Ben Gvir remarks came just a day after former defense minister and military chief Moshe Ya’alon warned of ethnic cleansing in northern Gaza, effectively clearing the area of Arabs.”
“Israel’s leadership, driven by far-right elements who seek to resettle Gaza, was taking the country down a path of ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip. Netanyahu’s government was leading the nation to “destruction,” he added.
