The so-called Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, issued today, Sunday, February 19, 2023, instructions to the Israeli occupation police to continue security activity in East Jerusalem, as a response to the civil disobedience decision announced by Palestinian citizens in East Jerusalem in response to the crimes of the occupation.
“We will show a strict response, and we will never tolerate violators,” Ben Gvir added.
Yesterday, Palestinians in Shuafat camp and Anata town, east of Jerusalem, began a civil disobedience against the Israeli occupation and its oppressive practices.
The civil disobedience comes as a response to the daily crimes of the occupation government against the people of Jerusalem and all Palestinian cities, including killings, arrests and house demolitions, in addition to the abuse, oppression and attacks that the people of Shuafat camp and Anata are subjected to on a daily basis.
