Al Qassam Brigades: Israel Refused to Receive 2 Captives
Al Qassam Brigades have informed Qatar Saturday, October 21.2023, that they wanted to release the captives Nurit Yitzhak and Yocheved Livschitz for humanitarian reasons, but Israel refused to receive them.
Israel have described the claim as “mendacious propaganda”.
Abu Obeida, a spokesman for the Al Qassam Brigades said on Saturday, “we informed our Qatari brothers yesterday evening that we would be releasing Nourit Yitshaq and Yokhefed Lifshitz for humanitarian reasons and without expecting anything in return. However, the Israeli occupation government refused to accept them.”
Earlier this week, captive mother and daughter Judith and Natalie Raanan were released by Hamas.
Israel confirmed they had received mother and daughter Judith and Natalie Raanan at the Gaza boundary, becoming the first captives to be released since the start of the aggression.
Hamas had said that the pair were freed for “humanitarian reasons”. US President Joe Biden said he was overjoyed at their release.
Hamas leaders have stated that civil captives will be released ince the Israeli forces put an end to the bombardment and air strikes.
4,741 Palestinians have been killed since the start of the aggression, including more than 1,873 children and 1,023 women. More than 14,000 remain wounded.
