About 42 Palestinians Detained in Israeli Arrest Campaign in West Bank, Jerusalem

Israeli occupation forces IOF on Monday early morning, August 1, launched a large-scale detention campaign, breaking into dozens of Palestinian houses and detaining at least 40 Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

Local sources reported that the Israeli military forces broke into Hebron and raided a number of Palestinian homes. At least 21 Palestinians, including ex-detainees, were detained during the barbaric campaign.

In a related incident, Israeli forces raided the occupied West Bank cities of Qalqilia and Bethlehem, detaining five Palestinians, including an-ex detainee, after Breaking into and searching their houses.

In Nablus, Palestinian youths confronted the Israeli incursions into the city. Meanwhile, Israeli forces opened fire and injured two Palestinian youths. Three others were detained as IOF wreaked havoc on their houses. Three Palestinians were detained from Jerusalem, Jenin, and Ramallah as well.

Almost daily, Israeli forces break into the Palestinian houses in the West Bank and Jerusalem, causing terror and detaining Palestinians. Over the first six months of 2022, Israeli occupation forces IOF have detained at least 3124 Palestinians from different parts of the occupied West Bank, occupied Jerusalem, and the besieged Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian reports.
