Days of Palestine – Ramallah
Last night and at dawn today, the Israeli occupation forces launched a massive campaign of arrests in separate areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem, affecting leaders of Hamas and freed prisoners, including an ex-prisoner from Jenin.
In Hebron, the Israeli occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods in the city and arrested three leaders of the Hamas movement after raiding and searching their homes at dawn.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces arrested the leaders of Hamas: Anas Rasras, Omar Al-Qawasmi, and Dr. Mustafa Shawer; and who is the president of the Palestine Scholars Association.
The Israeli occupation forces also arrested the young Muhammad Abu Maria from Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, two days after the release of his editor father, Wahid Abu Maria.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Araba, and arrested the ex-prisoner and activist, Mona Qa'dan, after storming and searching her home.
It is noteworthy that Mona spent 7 years behind bars, during 5 arrests, the last of which was on 11/13/2012, and it lasted 42 months until her release on 03/10/2016, during which her mother died and her two brothers, Tariq, were arrested.
The Israeli occupation forces also arrested the two brothers, Hammouda and Ramiz Al-Samir, after they raided and searched their homes in Jenin.
In Bethlehem, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the ex-prisoner, Hammad Ahmed Abu Mariyah, at the "Container" checkpoint, northeast of the city.
Meanwhile, a campaign of arrests was launched against released prisoners in the town of Tuqu ', south of Bethlehem, after they raided and searched the homes of their relatives.
The Israeli occupation forces arrested: Mohammad al-Amor (22 years), Muhannad al-Amor (23 years), Muhammad al-Amor (22 years), Sufyan al-Amor (26 years), Muhammad al-Amor (25 years), and Anas al-Amor (20 years), Mahmoud al-Amor (22 years), Shadi al-Amor (23 years), and Baraa al-Amor (22 years).
In Ramallah, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Deir Jarir, Ramallah district, and arrested the young Mahmoud Maali, the citizen Abdul-Alim Alawi, the father of the prisoner Maan Alawi, who was arrested a week ago, and they were also arrested after raiding homes in the town.
The military occupation vehicles stormed the city of Ramallah and the village of Mughayer and drove their vehicles and soldiers on foot in the city.
In Nablus, a group of young men threw a settler's vehicle near the junction of "Yitzhar" settlement, which is built on Palestinian lands south of Nablus, which led to its destruction.
In the same context, the Israeli occupation forces stormed Nablus and stationed on Al-Matahna Street for several hours.
In occupied Jerusalem, an Israeli occupation force arrested the boy Adam Qara'in (18 years) after severely beating him in the Ras al-Amud neighborhood in the town of Silwan in occupied Jerusalem.
The Israeli occupation forces arrested the young men Ahmed Khwais, Muhammad Al-Sayyad, and Tawfiq Abu Sbitan, all of them in their twenties after they raided and searched their homes in the Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem.
The recent period has witnessed the arrest of the occupation forces of many leaders of Hamas and its members, coinciding with the preparation for holding the legislative elections that were agreed to be held during the next month.
Separate areas of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem witness daily night incursions, interspersed with raids and searches of homes, destroying their contents, and terrorizing their residents, especially women and children.
