DaysofPal— Hamas Movement urged international mediators and the United Nations to take immediate steps to halt the ongoing Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip and the ongoing killing of civilians.
In a statement on Monday, the Movement said Israeli airstrikes struck displacement tents and residential homes in several areas of Gaza, killing at least seven people and injuring others.
Hamas characterized the strikes as systematic aggression, noting that the Israeli occupation is continuing a broader military campaign against Palestinians.
The statement also criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who escalates the killing of civilians as part of his electoral campaign, adding that the attacks violate international law and humanitarian norms.
Hamas said the continued Israeli strikes and civilian casualties would not undermine Palestinian will but would instead strengthen adherence to their land, rights to life, freedom, and dignity.
The Movement renewed its appeal to mediators involved in the ceasefire agreement, calling on them, along with the United Nations, to intervene urgently to halt the ongoing Israeli crimes, military operations, starvation, and Gaza blockade.
