DaysofPal – At least 10 Palestinians were killed and 42 others injured in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said on Tuesday, as military operations continued and humanitarian conditions further deteriorated.
In a statement, the ministry said a number of victims remain trapped beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings or lying in the streets, with ambulance and civil defense crews unable to reach them due to ongoing hostilities and a severe lack of equipment.
Israeli attacks continued across several parts of the enclave. Warplanes struck an inhabited house with three missiles, while Israeli forces advanced into areas southeast of the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City under heavy gunfire.
Tanks and military vehicles fired on the eastern parts of Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah, while Israeli naval vessels also bombarded the coast of Gaza City. In central Gaza, Israeli bulldozers carried out land-clearing operations, destroying agricultural fields east of Deir al-Balah during a military incursion.
Witnesses reported that Israeli troops, backed by military vehicles, pushed into southeastern Zeitoun as explosions and sustained gunfire echoed across eastern Gaza City. Drone aircraft also continued flying over northern and western Gaza City, as well as parts of the central governorate.
The Health Ministry said that since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, 1,168 Palestinians have been killed, 3,798 injured, and 802 bodies recovered from areas previously inaccessible.
The ministry reports that since Israel’s genocidal campaign began on October 7, 2023, 73,293 people have died and 173,906 have been injured, highlighting the ongoing human cost of the war in Gaza.
