DaysofPal- Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem stated on Wednesday that the Israeli military is intensifying its attacks against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Describing the continuous bombardment and daily casualties on the streets of Gaza, Qassem warned that the territory has effectively been transformed into “killing stations.”
In a press statement issued on Wednesday, Qassem said the Israeli military’s daily violations have become a fixed policy, replacing the “Trump plan.” He argued that mediators have failed to compel Israel to abide by the terms of the ceasefire agreement, while the silence of the “Council of Peace” has encouraged Israel to continue its military operations.
Qassem said the “open massacre” unfolding in Gaza, which he said is being broadcast live before the international community and the Arab League, places political, moral, and legal responsibility on all parties to take action to halt the ongoing slaughter of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
The statements come as the Israeli military continues to breach the terms of the ceasefire agreement signed last year on October 11.
Since the ceasefire went into effect, 1,084 Palestinians have been killed and 3,491 more have been injured, according to Gaza’s Ministry of Health.
The overall death toll from Israel’s genocidal campaign on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,110, with a total of 173,599 people wounded.
