DaysofPal- Five more Palestinians, including a husband and wife, were killed and several others injured on Monday in Israeli airstrikes targeting Gaza City and Khan Younis, amid continued violations of the ceasefire agreement across the Gaza Strip.
In a fresh Israeli attack, two civilians were killed and at least 15 others were wounded in a preliminary toll after an Israeli airstrike hit a vehicle near the Al-Istabl junction on Al-Rashid Street in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis.
The casualties were transferred to Nasser Hospital and a field hospital operated by the Red Crescent.
Local sources reported that Mohammed Falah Daghmash and his wife were killed when an Israeli strike targeted a residential apartment near the Jordanian Hospital in the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.
The Israeli attack reportedly sparked a fire in the apartment, with rescue teams working to contain the blaze and assist victims.
In central Gaza, another Palestinian, identified as Nasser Al-Awawda, died from wounds sustained earlier after being hit by shrapnel from Israeli artillery shelling that struck the eastern area of Al-Masdar village.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces continued bombing eastern parts of Khan Younis, while military vehicles opened heavy fire toward southern and eastern areas.
Moreover, Israeli naval vessels also fired toward the city’s coastline, according to local reports.
The strikes come as hostilities persist despite a ceasefire agreement that took effect in October 2025, with repeated Israeli attacks reported across different areas of the Gaza Strip.
