DaysofPal- The Palestinian Prisoners’ Media Office announced on Wednesday that the number of Palestinian women held in Israeli prisons has risen to 98 following a new wave of Israeli arrests in the occupied West Bank.
According to the office, Israeli forces detained four Palestinian women during raids carried out across several cities.
The arrests were concentrated in three main governorates.
The statement said the arrests were part of ongoing Israeli military incursions and detention campaigns in the West Bank.
No further details were immediately available regarding the charges against the detainees or the conditions of their detention.
The number of Palestinian prisoners, including women, has fluctuated in recent months amid continued Israeli operations across the occupied territories.
It’s noteworthy that Palestinian detainees are suffering torture, abuse and inhuman conditions in Israeli jails.
